Dixie Rae Burnett Jones passed gently through the veil on Friday, September 8, 2023, with her dear husband of almost 65 years sitting by her side to make sure she made it safely. Dixie was born March 18, 1937, in Malad, Idaho, the oldest child of James Marius Burnett and Norma Eliason. Her first two years were lived in a log cabin with no running water or electricity in Holbrook, Idaho. The family moved to Brigham City when she was 5, and she attended both elementary school and Junior High there, before moving to North Ogden her sophomore year of high school.
